Help and Documentation

  • Our definition is essentially anybody who is looking to drive and influence behavior.
  • One of the best definitions we ever heard was "a leader is someone who is trying to help someone get to a place that they couldn’t get to by themselves."
  • From a corporate perspective, it can be a Manager, a Director, a VP, or someone in the C-Suite.
  • A Coach who is trying to rally his or her team.
  • A Professor or Teacher who is trying to get their messages to be memorable.
  • A Parent who is trying to teach life lessons to their children.
  • A Club leader whose goal is to engage.
  • Bottom line…anybody can be a leader. We believe that you don’t need a formal title to lead. As long as you genuinely care about others and you’re trying to help them maximize their real potential, then you are considered a leader in our book.
  • If you’re going through a big change and trying to get everyone on the same page.
  • If you’ve been a leader for more than 3 years, and your stories are getting old.
  • If you find yourself constantly on the road, traveling from office to office, only to realize that your effectiveness isn’t what you think it is.
  • If you have a decentralized workforce.
  • If you’re a new leader who’s trying to get people’s attention.
  • If your audience are millennials, who have a very limited attention span.
  • If you don’t have an engaging personality.
  • If your online training modules are boring.
  • If your people aren’t opening your emails.
  • If you find yourself constantly repeating yourself, only to realize that nobody is really listening.
  • If you’re looking to galvanize your organization in principle, thought and action.
  • If you’re looking for a new way to connect with people.
  • If you want to motivate and inspire your team.
  • If you want to drive employee engagement
  • If you want to get best efforts from people.
  • If you want your people to make principle based decisions when they are by themselves.
  • If you’re looking to supplement your message.
  • If you’re trying to connect with people in a new and innovative way.
  • If you’re looking to be a leader vs. a boss.
  • If you want a new tool that will help leaders lead.
  • Share your principles and values
  • Putting the leader on camera before the clip builds trust and transparency.
  • If you plan on filming yourself or another VIP on camera, remember that shorter is always better. Best results are if you’re on camera for less than 30 seconds.
  • Assume that the audience has never seen the movie before. Best if you introduce the movie and the clip. Information about each is available under clip selection.
  • Be clear about what message you want your audience to focus on.
  • Send out clips at least once per week.
  • Use the subject line to drive interest and open rates, e.g. “See how courageous Tom Hanks is in Apollo 13.”
  • Change the leader on video once in a while.
  • Use an employee of the week/month to be the host.
  • Have a theme of the month and use our related themes.
  • Use the “Trimmer” to shorten the clips. Again, shorter is better.
  • Ask open ended questions to get the conversation started.
  • Use the advanced search options to narrow in on specific clips.
  • Send out clips based on the demographics of your viewers.
  • Think about what you want your audience thinking and feeling before you send out the clip experience.
